The saz/bağlama, one of the oldest musical instruments of the Turks, becomes a source of endless delight in the hands of master musicians.

Born in Ordu, Çetin Akdeniz is one such master of the saz. The fact that he studied under a legendary figure like Nida Tüfekçi during his conservatoire training has undoubtedly contributed to his success.

In addition to performing well-known folk compositions, Çetin Akdeniz has accompanied many famous artists, composed film scores and given concerts in numerous countries. I am sharing three different pieces by him with you.
