Ahmet Özhan holds the title of State Artist of the Republic of Turkey. In his youth, he performed so called “Turkish Art Music” pieces that were quite popular. He has taken on roles in cinema films between 1970s and 1980s. The artist later turned to religious music and became one of the important representatives of Turkish Sufi Music.
