Turkish palates have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Michelin Guide in December. Now that the list has been announced, it is time to take the opportunity to taste the delicious dishes prepared in these restaurants!

This quote from the International Director of the Michelin Guide, Gwendal Poullennec “Once again this year, our Inspectors were won over by the richness and uniqueness of the Turkish culinary scene” is the sentence I would like to highlight in my blog. Turkish culinary culture is much more than kebab and baklava. Although these are wonderful flavours that I, as a Turkish citizen, enjoy, the food-related aspect of any trip to Türkiye should go beyond them.
