I have just introduced a new series “A Quick Look” in my YouTube channel. Yes, unfortunately, I had to neglect my YouTube page for a very long time. It all started with Covid and I had to cancel most of my YouTube-related plans. However, now it is time for a new beginning. “A Quick Look” series will be the first phase of revitalizing of my YouTube channel.

The first episode of “A Quick Look” series focuses on a Turkish painter from 20th century: Nuri İyem. I am especially a fan of his “faces” series. His paintings of “faces” have a distinctive appearance thanks to emphasised eyes. But it would be a mistake to limit Nuri İyem’s creativity with his paintings of “faces”. He was a painter who highlighted some of the most important socio-economic developments of Turkish society during his lifetime.
